It's been a bit hectic lately: a lot of things have been happening in my life, but everything is great now. I'm living with my father and stepmother nowadays and I was accepted into the house with no problem. I miss my mother and my old job, but I can always go back to my old town to visit both.
As for my job, I've been working as an amusement ride operator. It can be both fun and irritating. XD At my old job I worked on a double-decker Carousel, which got to be a pain when I was on the ride alone and had to run up and down stairs constantly! At my new job I alternate between a Waveswinger and a Matterhorn (a smaller relative of the Musik Express). I've met so many foreigners, too! At my old job I met people from all over the world: Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Egypt, Ireland, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey, Macedonia... the list goes on!
Really, I just wanted to get that old journal off my main page and play around with this neat new journal skin I downloaded. It's been a while since I've had a subscription, actually.
Been a while since I updated this. My first semester of college is over, and I think it went great! I met some cool new people and was able to do well in all of my classes.
With Christmas coming up in a few days, I wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays!
...And the man I voted for won. Such a cool feeling.
I still feel that some of Obama's plans are empty promises, and perhaps he's being too optimistic... but hey. I also feel that he'll do a lot of good for the USA no matter what. Even if not all of his plans work, he can still help get this country back on its feet.
College has been going pretty well for me, too. ^^ I've been busy, but it's been a fun experience so far. I love all of my classes (minus English because it bores me), especially my natural world class. Every Friday we go outside on mini field trips around the campus, trying to identify as many organisms as we can. It's really fun. ^^
I have a reference sheet for Arcane in the works, too.
Things are looking up!
